2019年，Alvin 剛從澳洲回到香港，正思考著下一步的方向。一次偶然的機會，他認識了經營日本餐廳的上一手店主，對方詢問他有沒有興趣接手。當Alvin 坐在店門口，抬頭望向天空，在繁華的城市中，竟也能清晰地看到月亮。那一刻，彷彿月光為他指引了方向，他決定勇敢一試。TOMO，就這樣誕生了，一個 Alvin 想分享音樂和酒的地方。

那時候正值COVID疫情，街上許多店舖被迫結業，租金也因此回落。旁人或許看到的是蕭條與困境，但 Alvin 卻在其中看到了一線生機，一個嘗試實現夢想的契機。

A Message from the founder

In 2019, Alvin returned to Hong Kong from Australia and was pondering his next steps. By chance, he met the previous owner of a Japanese restaurant who asked if he was interested in taking over. As Alvin sat at the shop's entrance, looking up at the sky in the bustling city, he could clearly see the moon. At that moment, as if the moonlight guided him, he decided to bravely give it a try. This is how TOMO was born – a place where Alvin wanted to share music and drinks.

An Unexpected Turn During the Pandemic: Hope Amidst Crisis

It was during the COVID-19 pandemic, and many shops on the street were forced to close, causing rents to drop. While others might have seen desolation and hardship, Alvin saw a glimmer of hope within it – an opportunity to try and realize his dream.

What Alvin most wanted to do was organize various events, have fun with everyone, and happily enjoy life together. This pure joy and sharing are the core values of TOMO.
